Product and Pricing Actuarial Analyst (6 month internship)
As an innovative ‘Product and Pricing’ actuarial analyst, you will help translate our business ambition to serve the needs of digital communities. The role assumes significance since it requires assisting to price the risk on one hand; and on the other engaging with insurers and reinsurers to build capacity.
What you will do
- Support the development of Indeez pricing capabilities on main lines of business, being able to develop pricing models in absence of data by being innovative on developing assumptions
- Develop new technical expertise on new business lines/products
- Participate in the negotiation on Pricing and Terms & Conditions with external stakeholders (insurers, MGU, brokers, re-insurers)
- Actuarial support during RFP processes for key large accounts
- Keep up to date with business and competitive trends. Ability to understand the best in class practices and products in other markets
- Take broad and ambiguous customer problems/needs and turn them into delightful products.
- Ability to compile, analyse and transform data into business actions.
- Participate in company’s transversal end to end project for new product development
What you will bring
- Working towards your master’s degree in actuarial sciences, statistics or similar.
- Hands-on analytics experience using Excel. Knowledge of additional software like Python or R is a plus
- Intellectual curiosity and proactiveness; can-do, problem solving attitude. Think out of the box.
- Strong team spirit and good interpersonal skills; Being able to work across diverse teams and cultures; Ability to evolve in complex and chaotic situations
- Previous experience demonstrating roll-up-sleeve mindset (e.g. associations, entrepreneurship, or other)
- Strong communication skills, ability to present complex ideas and express yourself effectively
- Proficiency in English & French.

Compensation: you will be offered a monthly compensation including restaurant tickets and 50% of your travel pass.
Duration: 6 months minimum starting January 2022
